Alright so I a dumbfounded by this newfound phenomenon...for some reason when I log into Tekkit my computer shuts off. In the same manner similiar to one who would hold the power button. I guess I.can not play Minecraft...any suggestions? Sent from my Space Cadet Mind
That sounds like there might be a problem with the power to your GPU - that is, it overloading or shorting your PSU out somehow. Have you tried running a graphical benchmark application or other (heavy) 3D game to see if that causes the same problem? If it does, you will want to check that all cables in your PC are connected correctly. If that doesn't solve the problem, you might need to go shopping for a new PSU.
