Is happening quite a bit - I don't know that there is a current fix. I believe it's a "wait for an update and hope it fixes it", type scenario.
yea but now the server does not work for anyone no one cant get on the sever it all and it needs to be fixed asap
last I checked, the tekkit forums were waiting on you to give more information then trying checking the config for forge chunk loading
all i no about the problem is that i was on it then i had meager lag then i left the server then tried to get back on to fix the lag but that's when the issue started it says connection lost or end of stream so idk what else there is
well, have you checked back on the tekkit forums lately? Some guy there was asking for some more logs so he could help. Another suggested an area you could look at for the issue. Feel free to bring the other admins in to help you fix the problem, it is why they are there. However, I want to see you guys work together to solve the issue before I do a lot of work on it, because I have a lot of other stuff on my plate at the moment.
I have looked into the issue, nor have I found anything of value. I spent a intense amount of time trying to figure out what the problem is. And once in a billion Google did not have the answer... so I am stumped. And just a heads up @Gorian all of us understand how busy you are, that is fine. And that is perfectly acceptable. But as I have noticed the past couple of days you are either annoyed etc, cause you have been a tad bit rude on the replies. Could be nicer. Just a friendly reminder. well, I'd start by looking at the logs, and posting them in the tekkit forum. Also, it is currently running plain forge, not MCPC+, for troubleshooting purposes. If you are unfamiliar with the difference, it might help to do some research on them. As to logs, they can be obtained via MCMA without having to login to the server console. A good place to start would be the file manager, grabbing "server.log" Feel free to ask me questions, I'm happy to help, but I would like to see you and my other admins take on more responsibility for the server instead of just me.
Facepalm. That issue I mentioned months ago about being able to view/edit/add to that is still not fixed....this was way back when I.attempted to add the antigriefing plugin... and that being said you can run that past @White Glint cause I ask led if he knew what the problem is. FYI, I don't see that anyone has replied to the tekkit thread from us yet with relavent information. @{PR} Liam , @White Glint, @jarabis, @Endemoni, @garler.
I don't really have anything relevant to add. I came to you with the error I believed Liam might have been seeing regarding downloading the .log file, and now I see it is resolved - it shouldn't be an issue anymore. Beyond that, past issues with the file manager (uploading plugins) was likely due to the incompatible file type thing - and that was solved by an FTP login. It has a list of file types it takes at the bottom.
