I plan to move to from the Crystal Desert server to the Dragonbrand server in the near future because CD is basically crap in WvW - as well as organizing and working together in all PvE events. My guild (SoH) did much research (and spying by guesting) and took 4 separate votes to decide that Dragonbrand is the best server up at the moment. Since they have so far been a very friendly, supportive, and helpful group of people with a huge focus in strategy and organized game play in WvW, I too plan on saving up enough gold for the move. I invite everyone else to join me on the new server once I make the move. It costs 142g to convert to the required 1800 gems to transfer servers. This means one could also pay $30 for gems for the transfer (but I'm too broke for this). So I will be farming gold for a while. Come join me? Note: You may also "guest" on other servers at the limit of 2 times every 24 hrs. This will allow you all to still play "as a guest" on the Dragonbrand server, but you will not be able to participate in WvW as a guest until you make a permanent switch. To guest, simply go to your character selection menu, click world selection in the lower left corner, choose Dragonbrand, select GUEST, and finally choose play. This will let you play as a guest in the server until you log out. You may do this twice in 24 hrs.
I have made the move to Dragonbrand, you all should do the same. The WvW environment is much better on the server. I can still guest to Crystal Desert(and visa versa) to PVE but you will need to move to Dragonbrand to WvW with me. Hope to see you all there!
