Hey guys, I just wanted to clarify the rules for voting in membership.

When you first apply for membership into {Phantom Rapture}, you are accepted and can now wear the tags {PRT} or {prt} (the latter if you are less than 16 years old). After one month, the entire full membership of {PR} votes on your membership (which it is important to be active both on the site, in game and on Teamspeak.

The clarification that I wish to make with this post is that we do not actually vote on the entrance membership of new applicants, but on their full membership.

I hope this clears a few things up.

Supplice Edit 7/23/15: To be clearer since I'm seeing some people re-visit this thread/new members read this/questions being asked, lowercase tags ({pr} and {prt}) are used for the Under 16 division, called the {PR} Cadets. Some have voiced slight confusion on the wording in the post - I wanted to clarify that.

Further, the process of membership voting after one month is only voted for if you're seen being active in TS and the forums - primarily so in the forums. If a Council Member has seen you active in the forums, they will put up a vote after the month. However, if you haven't been active, it can and most likely will be overruled - see the charter (on our wiki, top right bar) for details and direct questions and concerns to Council/Tri members.
