So i have been doing some comparing and very much thinking and i believe i am going to choose to go with ESO i dropped the game 2 days after launch and have just picked it back up and the interactions of combat just make me feel like i have more control over what i am doing.. I appreciate all of ur help.. and anyone is more than welcome to join me to play ESO if you would like..

OH GOD NO. I know I give GW2 a lot of :poop:, but ESO is so bad. SO BAD. There's a reason it went "free to play," meaning same model as GW2. At least I respected GW2 enough to give it a shot and actually found it to be pretty decent, but dear god not ESO.

Problem with GW2 is that PvE is bland and boring and everything is endgame. All the fun stuff like WvW, dungeons, fractals, PvP, world bosses, etc you have be to level 80 and fully geared in a decent build with at least exotics to participate. Hell even the upcoming HoT expansion is a level 80 only area. So that slow grind to level 80 is absolutely terrible. But once you hit it and are geared, thats when the fun begins and you can finally play the game.

Id recommend running your personal story as far as you can, and doing world completion only when you absolutely have to because the story became too hard at your level. Friends can help in personal story too. When you are comfortable with your character and have all skills unlocked jump into arena PvP and improve skills while getting level up scrolls as drops on top of basic experience gain. You can get an instant lvl 20 scroll and instant 1 lvl up scrolls and they drop like candy in PvP. Thats the fast way to farm levels. Once you are close to 80 and have decent gear, hop into the WvW map Edge of the Mist. This is a map for uplevels where everyone are noobs and they train through all the keeps in a massive zerg to farm a crazy amount of XP and bags. Youll be 80 in no time. It really doesnt take long you just gotta commit.
