well, if you need help with something, just ask some stuff though, is as simple as going to the console tab in McMyAdmin, highlighting errors, copying them, and then pasting them somewhere when asking someone else for help.
And there we go again, as I said... I am unable to interact with the File Manager. :| EDIT: got Got it working to download.
This makes no sense. As i am looking at the server.log file it ends the 8th. Npthing is logged afterward. But I did notice some odd things when this error started to happen. See what you guys think. Code: connection: user was kicked. 2014-04-17 07:38:35 [INFO] §etythekillaoo left the game. 2014-04-17 07:38:35 [INFO] Unloading Player: tythekillaoo 2014-04-17 07:38:40 [INFO] tythekillaoo[/69.62.166.60:54771] logged in with entity id 109269 at ([arda] 2156.4515098913384, 94.0, -2566.934328184263) 2014-04-17 07:38:41 [INFO] Loading Player: tythekillaoo 2014-04-17 07:38:41 [INFO] Sending serverside check to: tythekillaoo 2014-04-17 07:38:41 [INFO] [Server] Welcome back, tythekillaoo 2014-04-17 07:38:41 [INFO] [CONSOLE->tythekillaoo] Hey there, tythekillaoo! 2014-04-17 07:38:41 [INFO] [CONSOLE->tythekillaoo] Welcome to Phantom Rapture Tekkit 2014-04-17 07:39:12 [WARNING] Failed to handle packet for tythekillaoo/69.62.166.60: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Could not get provider type for dimension 133, does not exist java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Could not get provider type for dimension 133, does not exist at net.minecraftforge.common.DimensionManager.getProviderType(DimensionManager.java:183) at com.xcompwiz.mystcraft.world.agedata.AgeData.getAge(AgeData.java:331) at com.xcompwiz.mystcraft.inventory.ContainerBook.getTargetAge(ContainerBook.java:135) at then I noticed this as well. Whenever a player connects to the server via the Tekkit launcher they are kicked then a SEVERE message is shown. Here is an example: Code: Reached end of stream for /37.157.246.146 2014-05-09 02:03:59
I looked into the suggestion that the issue was caused by forgeChunkLoading.cfg, and here is what I found: Disable chunkloading on dimdoors (setting max to 0) had no effect on the server. Setting chunkloading on dimdoors super high (500 per ticket, 1000 total) removed the notification on server start but was otherwise ineffective. Strangely, the server's RAM usage dropped comically low as well (too much loaded?). Although dimdoors shouldn't need so many chunks loaded, it does not seem to be the issue. I was also able to reach the server, and verify that the port is open. Perhaps it's an issue with Java?
have we successfully updated MCPC+ yet? ALSO, last I checked, we weren't running with MCPC+, just forge (can be changed in MCMA)
I have not updated mcpc+ as for java I doubt it. As everyone is having the problem. And I pinged the server successfully. Ports are open, but we are still being rejected Sent from my Space Cadet Mind
Gorian I'll go ahead and update it! EDIT: I'll go ahead and download ours first just in case. That way we have it if something messes up! EDIT #2: Nvm I can not upload the new MCPC+ file. As I do not have the permissions. Here is a screenshot that I get.
That's not an error about having the wrong permissions - that's an error about using the wrong file type. Look at the bottom, where it lists what files are accepted. FTP program will be needed.
Yes I know. The file I tried uploading is supported.... and its the official .jar And I read on this and apparently the filemanager should allow the upload.... And that is the same error I get when I tried uploading the antigrief way back. As I said before I am still unable to upload anything with the file manager. Has not been fixed yet.... EDIT: You are right on the uploading the file... I did not look into the matter further. But apparently if I install the MCPC+ it said it will auto create a the Forge.jar file. So just in case I need to make sure no one has edited the forge file before upload. ANd not only that I will need to use a FTP program to do so. SO I assume Winscp will work fine.
And I am gonna have to ask @Gorian which directory he it placed in. Cause I can't find the directory. ...I prefer messy... ...He prefers neat and tidy... Not entirely sure but doing a thorough search... I assume the files I need to access are in a access denied directory... so Idk. someone either needs to assist me or something.
Are you trying to do it with the file manager? I thought I'd explained this one already (and the file manager says it on the page). You can ONLY upload files of specific types. It doesn't allows exe, jars, etc. You'll have to use SCP or FTP.
What is the procedure for uploading via FTP? I have a client but trying to connect to admin.tekkit.pr-gaming.net is not working. Is there a particular protocol or port used?
Did you not notice the edit? I take it you have not. Endemoni you need to connect to tekkit.pr.clan.ws And I am not sure if you have your login credentials, I think me and Supplice only can connect, correct me if I am wrong @Gorian
yeah. If someone needs login creds, just ask. As for uploading, just replace the existing MCPC+ file with the new one. Keep the exact same name.
Again I have logged in with FTP, which directory have you placed the mcpc-plus.jar file in? I have looked all over and done a through search as well. And nothing turned up....................
But anyway I'll just leave this mess to someone else. As I am incapable of doing so. As the help I need is not there.
alright, I'm just assuming all my admins gave up on this? @{PR} Liam @jarabis @garler @White Glint @Endemoni
I've still been trying but just like for you I have more important things to deal with right now such as my final exams @Gorian
I think you're aware of the process I'm taking with this from a previous discussion - likely wouldn't be polite to mention it in front of others.
