Nice, if you want to get better. try to put in at least 30 minutes of dm/demo watching per day. A suggestion, use this command cl_draw_only_deathnotices 1 to remove the hud. The hud does hinder the quality of the video, but overall it looks good.
I do watch my demos back all the time and cringe at how noob I really am in the moment haha. I also watch Global Elites play live. And omg Ive been wanting to hide the hud so bad you have no idea, thank you!! Luckily this was a just cuz video I threw together of some old demos I had. Still testing demo controls and recorder settings and stuff. What program do you use? This is Fraps at full 1440x900 @ 30 fps and I think it looks pretty bad myself. But Fraps lags so much, and Afterburner I used to use but for some reason set hotkeys dont do anything anymore...
But Ive been focusing most on crosshair placement which I still struggle with. I tend to subconsciously aim down for body mass instead of headshots.
Maybe I should try out Dxtory then because Fraps sucks. I wish I could record source on a 1080p monitor also.
Only for recording though, I my self I play on 1280 x 960 stretched. Been using it for about a year now.
