You know, it's been a while since we have last talked about Neverwinter. I still enjoy the game, and play it on a non-Steam client. Once the new module, Tyranny of Dragons, gets added on the 14th, I will probably be playing it obsessively. Here are some previews of what we can expect from this next expansion: New playable race: Dragonborn (humanoid dragons) New playable class: Scourge Warlock New dungeon: Lair of Lostmauth New skirmish: Shores of Teurn Tyranny of Dragons campaign (you will have to be max level for this) Artifact Equipment (you can refine these to make them better. Just belts and accessories are confirmed, though) Heroic encounters involving dragons Ionno about you guys, but I am pretty stoked for this. Then again, I am a huge D&D nerd, so that might be part of it.
Dragonborn...? On a scale of lawsuit to gave up, how much are they even trying? Sent from my Mind using Magic.
1) The Dungeons and Dragons version of the dragonborn existed far before The Elder Scrolls was ever being written. This has been a part of lore for over 20 years. 2) You can't sue people for using similar terms in a game. You can only sue them for copyright infringement when they start using similar art assets. 3) ES Dragonborn != D&D Dragonborn. ES has a character with the blood of a dragon, but is completely humanoid in appearance. D&D has an entire race of people that are six foot tall fucking bipedal dragons.
New class AND new race? I may have to check it out. I never even hit max level on any of my characters.
