Awesome! I tried to get a few yesterday, no luck. Twice I was wailing away on someone with an axe and they beat me up bareknuckled. They've gotta nerf fists a bit. Tonight I didn't see a soul between Three Valleys and NEAF.
I've killed 3 or 4 people so far. My actions were met with "F U Buddy" over direct chat. One guy came up to me while I was drinking from a pump and punched me so I chased him down and he yells "friendly!" Ha, yeah ok buddy. I couldn't kill him with the hammer I had. Accidentally spawned as the asian chick and she's been my luckiest character so far. Spawned in Balota, ran overland to NEAF, then over to NWAF. Just discovered ammo boxes and coupled mags for the M4 so I'm stockpiling all sorts of ammo, and I just got the rail equipped handgrip and mounted a tactical flashlight.. Sweet! Teamwork! Or not.... That's OK, I can hold the light and shoot all by myself now.

Just bought DayZ SA, since I was really bored at the time, already put 5.5 hours into it, had 3 characters already, first one died off straight away: I was looting balota airfield, went into the Prison, server crashed, rebooted or I just lost connection to it, logged back into the server, upon loading in, there was a guy looting right next to me, he shot me straight away, and asked questions later .
Shared hive. Hosting by the usual suspects. I think Bohemia paid for a bunch of servers but now you can rent one too, but all you get is kick, announcements and a blurb in the server name.
