This weekend, as most of you know, I have upgraded the tekkit server from tekkit 1.1.10 to tekkit 1.2.6. This brings us from minecraft 1.5.2 to minecraft 1.6.4. While complete change logs for tekkit 1.2.6 are not available last I looked, I will list here all the changes that have been implemented since the last update, regarding both the server, and tekkit itself. Host: McMyAdmin has been converted to a system service using an init.d script. In layman's terms, this means that when we get unplanned server restarts, as soon as the host starts up, so does MCMA, and subsequently, the tekkit server. This means no more waiting for an admin to start it manually after unplanned downtime. McMyAdmin has been upgraded from version 2.4.9.1 to version 2.5.0.0. This adds a file manager that lets our tekkit admins do their job from the web panel more efficiently. Tekkit Server has been upgraded from version 1.1.10 to version 1.2.6 Tekkit Server: Bukkit plugins for Essentials and GroupManager have not been updated as they are already latest. This means that permissions have carried over. However, due to the world reset, user data had to be deleted to prevent issues with "homes" and such. You will need to reset your nickname. Resource pack system replaces the texture pack system Added Attribute system Added Horses, Donkeys, and Mules Added Horse Armour Added Hay Bale Added Lead Added Carpets Added nametags Added blocks of coal Added Hardened and Stained Clay MCPC+ has been updated to git-MCPC-Plus-jenkins-MCPC-Plus-164-245 Dynmap has been updated to Dynmap version: core=1.9.2-1888, plugin=1.9.2-215 This brings support for rendering many more mods included in tekkit, including adding support for Steve's Cart and Minefactory reloaded, issues we had with the previous version DynmapCBBridge has been updated to 1.9.2. This means that we have better integration between our bukkit plugins and ForgeDynmap which is implemented as a server-side mod (NOT a bukkit plugin). Nether ore explosions have been disabled. Currently, the original DNS names are still functioning as well.
