Hey, I was wondering if it would be possible to give people in the members group permissions to add people to the friends of pr group. I wasn't sure if it was possible to give permissions to assign specific groups.
Hey Robby! Have you seen this thread here? It has a bunch of links and info in it on TS and the groups, all which give even more info. I'm slightly confused as to if you're in the Member or Specialist group, I will have to take a look at it in a moment. You should be in the Specialist group which would have perms to add people to the Friend of {PR} group, however as for the Member group it doesn't have the perm to add/remove users for a few reasons, namely it's pretty easy to get through the one month trial here and we can generate a large amount of new traffic randomly so that group can consist of a lot of random people - would prefer not to see it get abused or otherwise misused in some way. I know Starmade typically always brings in a lot of traffic, and if we started recruiting a lot in other games such as Warframe, ArcheAge, or Guild Wars 2, it's a concern I've always had so I've tried limiting it to positions that people will have to work quite a bit harder for and earn more trust for. Still, I'm open to feedback and suggestions!
